Clients benefit from the company’s extensive experience of market research. Postal market research is the preferred route as the general public is adversely sensitive to telephone research; in addition focus group research can also be arranged.
Data capture teams can quickly enter research or CSQ (Customer Satisfaction Questionnaires) documents. In house data analysis compliments the service with reporting and PowerPoint presentations providing in depth studies from which clients can make calculated decisions. CSQ reports are also available online for immediate monitoring.
Au Marketing Services have an agreement in place as a re-seller of ZipCounts a sophisticated data analysis, profiling and segmentation tool to get the best out of databases. ZipCounts offers the ability to interrogate data, add geo-demographic codes and undertake mapping to show relevant household penetration.
The data management department can build databases to exacting specifications, convert transactional databases to customer databases and clean data against PAF (Postal Address File) and the many and varied mailing suppressions including Goneaways, Mortascreen, Bereavement Register and NCOA (National Change of Address).

Print & Mailing Services
Au Marketing Services offers a wide range of print buying services. From simple single colour print, to the more complex full colour mailing piece, which are all sourced from within our group.
The group printing facility provides an efficient and speedy turnaround on all aspects of print.
Mailing services include simple postcards, personalised letter-text, mail merged to accommodate specific product copy or incentives to respond. Au Marketing Services can also buy envelopes and poly-bags to match client requirements. Alternatively arrangements can be made to mail using poly-wrap, plain or coloured with address details printed directly onto the poly-wrap or an accompanying carrier sheet.
With regard to mailings, clients can choose Mailsort-1, Mailsort-2 or Mailsort-3. Mail sorting data can provide postal savings dependent on the actual size and weight of the mailing. Mailsort discounts apply to a minimum of 1,000 records for “large letter” and 4,000 records for “letter” mailings as defined by Royal Mail. We also have access to many alternative downstream access suppliers, such as TNT Mail and Business Post.
Call Centre, Response Handling and Fulfilment
A 60-seat Call Centre offers full data capture and transcription services. The Call Centre is open 09:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 17:00 Saturdays and Sundays.
The Call Centre provides live operator service backed up with sophisticated IVR. The IVR system has been well tested with a Tourist Board client advertising on national television during peak viewing times over the Christmas/New Year period. Coupon response and data capture is handled on a daily basis.
Web orders can be automated from clients own websites or Au Marketing Services can “host” web brochure request pages on its own servers. Data feeds can also be taken from 3rd party providers.
All data captured is automatically transferred to the main fulfilment centre for same day fulfilment (up to 12 midday).
The fulfillment of brochure requests is tailored to clients own requirements. This can vary from simply bagging brochures and applying labels to personalising letter-text which can be product specific. Post is available 1st class, 2nd class or a mixture dependent on the time of year or day of the week.
Online real time reporting enables clients to monitor campaigns by media and source codes. Additional reporting is available on a bespoke basis.
